Shanghai ST Food Industries Co.,Ltd, (SSTFI), a Sino-Singapore joint venture subsidiary of Singapore-listed Singapore Food Industries Limited (SFI), is established on 28 June 1995 with a total authorized capital of USD 8 million and paid-up capital of USD 4 million. It began operation in July 1997 mainly producing frozen convenience food.

SSTFI is strategically located at the inner rim of Shanghai at the outer-ring expressway and the start-point of the Hu-Ning highway. It is easily accessible to Shanghai city and the major cities in the Zhejiang and Jiangsu province.

We were awarded the "Shanghai Advanced Enterprise" award by the Shanghai Government in 2000 and 2001, "Contract Trustworthy" award by the Industrial & Commence Bureau in 2001, "A-Class Enterprise" award by the Tax Bureau in 2001 and 2002 and "Shanghai Reputable And Quality Products" award by the Shanghai Food Association in 2003.

Our Business

Our core business includes sourcing, production, sales and distribution of value-added food products. We have a 5000MT per year production capability for various breaded and battered chicken, beef and seafood products and 12 million items per year capability for various rice/noodle based snacks, home meal replacements (HMR) and ready meals for institutional catering.

Our housebrand FARMPRIDE is a leading brand in these product categories in Singapore, Shanghai and various cities in China. Besides our own brands, we also contract manufacture (OEM) for both domestic and export markets.

Our Facilities

Our factory covers a 15,000 square meters compound. The factory has 3 manufacturing plants equipped with state-of-the-art production lines and liquid nitrogen IQF systems imported from the Netherlands, Germany, USA and Japan. Products and raw material are kept in 3 freezer warehouses with modern racking system controlled at below minus 20 degree Celsius by refrigeration control system from Sweden. The total storage capacitiy is about 1000MT. The manufacturing plant is supported by a Product Development Centre, Quality Control Laboratories and a Waste Water Treatment Plant.

Our Quality

SSTFI is one of the very few food manufacturing companies in China to have achieved the HACCP Certification and ISO9000:2000 Quality Standard Certification through SGS Yarsley International Services Inc. Since 1997, we have obtained Export Food Company Registration from China CIQ. Singapore AVA has also approved our export of processed chicken and rice-based products to Singapore in 1998 and 2003 respectively.
